While at Dixie, experience thrilling shows with non-stop spirit and exciting entertainment. On Friday night, we will gather once again in a surge of lodge spirit and reflect together on the theme: “Those who chose you, need you”. On Saturday evening, we will celebrate our appreciation for American Indian culture as each historical group dance team performs. Along with this, our Section Chief will lead the member lodges in electing the 2018-2019 Section Officers. On Sunday morning, Vigil Honor members of SR-5 will have the unique opportunity to attend a Vigil Rededication. Later that morning, a chapel service and awards ceremony will be conducted before the new officers are sworn in and the outgoing Chief hits the lake!

Dixie Expo

On Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Skyuka will host a Dixie Expo to give those Arrowmen not involved with registration or the COC meeting some activities to enjoy before the opening show.  This will include booth displays from various organizations, agencies or companies with Scouting appeal, and may include other activities as well. Come on out for a great time!

Dixie Grand Fair

The Grand Fair will be held at 10:30 p.m. on Friday night following the opening show and judges meetings. At the Grand Fair, Arrowmen will be able to experience a multitude of exciting activities while meeting Arrowmen from all over. These activities will include patch trading, a delicious cracker barrel, lodge booths similar to those at the NOAC Founders Festival, booths for OA High Adventure, NLS/DYLC, and Operation Arrow, and a lodge chief pie-eating contest!

Patch Trading

One of the highlights of every Dixie is the incredible amount of patch trading that happens. Dixie is the GO-TO place for patch traders in the South so be sure to not leave your patches back at home. This year, patch trading at Dixie will provide the perfect opportunity to build up your collections and trading stock prior to the National Order of the Arrow Conference later in the summer.

While at Dixie, don’t ever expect to go hungry. Enjoy delicious food throughout the entire weekend at the camp’s dining hall in each lodge’s assigned area. All dietary needs must be reported to the host lodge by March 15, 2018.

Of all the things that are a part of Dixie, spirit encompasses all of it. During the Dixie Fellowship, experience the clashes of lodge spirit and the thrill of being part of something HUGE. Go all out and prepare to have a ton of fun!

Besides NOAC and Jamboree, Dixie will be the largest experience in your journey as a Scout. While at Dixie, you’ll meet over 1,000 fellow Arrowmen from 10 different lodges spread across the Carolinas and Georgia. Make some new friends!

This Dixie will be unlike any other. For the first time, the Dixie Fellowship will be going “green”. It’s a weekend long act of service where together, we’ll make conscious efforts to conserve our resources.

Administration Competitions

From competitions such as Lodge Newsletter, Website, and Totem Pole to the Spirit and Lodge of the Year awards, Dixie has it all when it comes to Administration competitions. Be sure to check out the new competition this year, the Lodge NEXT Guide!

Ask questions, get great tips, and receive feedback from ceremonies experts.Be sure to check out the teams from each lodge who will be competing in Pre-Ordeal and Brotherhood ceremonies!

American Indian Activities

Recreation & Camping

At Dixie, Arrowmen will have the opportunity to stay at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, S.C.
