For over 100 years, Scouting and the Order of the Arrow have been integral parts of the United States of America. Ever since 1916, when the United States congress issued a congressional charter to the BSA, we have also been involved with the U.S. government as a recognized body.

Recently, I had the privilege of attending Prism at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Prism, the event, served as the physical prism, and you were the beam of light. (more…)
On Saturday July 9th, Atta Kulla Kulla and Skyuka Lodges will convene together at Camp Old Indian for a day of fun, fellowship, and Lodge Games. There will be frisbee, food, and patch trading. Later on in the day, Glassy Mountain Fire Department will come out to cool everyone down with a firetruck. Section Chief Matthew Watson and Section Secretary Stuart Park will be at the event hanging out with both lodges. Be sure to look out for live tweets and picture updates about the event!
