The
2005 Dixie Fellowship was a huge success! With nearly 1100 Arrowmen in attendance, the Service Lodge, Muscogee, did a
great job. The 2005 Dixie Fellowship was held on the weekend
of April 22-24 at Camp Barstow on the banks of Lake Murray,
SC. Those in attendance got to participate in top notch
training, competed in Dancing, Ceremonies, Quest Events and
Administrative Events.
During the weekend new Section SR-5 officers were both
elected and installed into office. These officers will help
with the planning and execution of the 2006 Dixie Fellowship
at the Knox Scout Reservation. Through out the year they
will also help maximize lodge effectiveness by facilitating
idea sharing between lodges through training, lodge visits
and other actions deemed necessary.
Dustin
Counts of Catawba Lodge was elected Section Chief, Ryan Bajan of Atta
Kulla Kulla Lodge was elected Vice Chief and Dane Grismer of Itibapishe
Iti Hollo was re-elected Secretary.
During the weekend a lot of competitions went on between
the lodges. Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge took home the Lodge
of the Year Award. Bob White took home the Spirit Award, and
there was a tie between Muscogee Lodge and Eswau Huppeday
Lodge for the Quest for the Golden Arrow. For the
entire list of awards please see the
